In the ongoing system of education, we are using the old syllabus which is being used by the educational institutes for years. Teachers and students are focused in scoring good mark in the examination. This old method will not provide skill and knowledge to the student by the end of the course. There is no method to measure if student has achieved their goal by the end of the educational process. This old pattern of education created the problem of unemployment in the country as the student was not able to match the skills required by different companies.
Outcome-based education is setup in such a way that all the modules of the education can provide the specific outcome of the course. The students enrolled in a particular course with the aim of gaining in-depth knowledge and acquire the required skills by the end of the course. Student has the leverage to choose his own way to learn and there is no time limitation on him to learn. It depends on student choice to learn. His teachers, instructors guide the student in order to achieve his target outcomes.
